Nice fly - are you shooting these sequences yourself?
What do you guys think of this pattern?
I actually haven't fished it yet, but CDC beaing highly visible (surprisingly), and bouyant...I thought it would be good. Testing it soon!!

Thanks Mike
I looks good. I'll tie some to night and try them out over the week-end.
Let you Know.

Nice Mike,
I tie a bit more of a conventional CDC Klink and it's a definate slayer on the streams here. Check it out:
This one has the CDC wrapped parachute style around the post. Our trout take it very very confidently!
Cheers
Grant.

While we're on CDC flies, this next one has been my go to fly this season on the rivers:
It's called the CDC Soft, and is tied CDC & Elk style, but just replace the Elk hair with a Soft hackle of Partridge, Guinea Fowl or Hen hackle.

Cheers Mike. I have no idea what they take it for, but they love it!

Hi there guys
Have you seen the Marc Petitjean tying dvd?
If not, then make an effort to get a copy. It only demonstrates about five patterns, but contains many useful ideas. The ease with which he works with CDC is extremely impressive.
The book, Tying with CDC by Leon Links, is also a worthwhile investment. Stacks of CDC patterns in there.
Cheers
