    Default Toothy critters

I just want some feedback on what you guys use for these toothy critters like Elf/Shad to attach your flies.

American fishing wire, Surfstrand Micro Ultra in 5kg breaking strain. Its not cheap but considering its only 0.2mm in diameter and as flexible as most tippet material (it is made up of 19 individual strands) it is worth it! I tie it up using either a small sleeve or a clinch knot on the fly end and an albright on the line end. Works a charm

I bought mine at Solly's in Pretoria, but I have also seen it at Mia's in woodmead and Mia's in the joburg CBD. It was R55 for a 5m spool - enough to make roughly 30 tooth proof rigs!
