For nymphs I prefer the Tiemco 3769 which has a slightly longer shank than the 3761.
Good morning guys
Which model and brand of hook do you prefer for tying your stream dries and small nymphs?
For dries I use the new Partridge Flashpoint hook, the Grip 11013 BL or the Grip 11011BL.
For nymphs it is either the Knapec dry fly model hook or the Tiemco 3761.
Is there any other good options?

For nymphs I prefer the Tiemco 3769 which has a slightly longer shank than the 3761.
For dries I select hooks that have the largest gape. The specific make is not that important to me. I also like upturned eyes, although these seem to be a bit hard to find these days.

Upturned eyes? You give away your age there.
Why do you prefer the upturned eyes? Do they not push the tippet out of the water and does this not put fish off? I spend a lot of energy on sinking my tippets when fishing dries and an up-eyed hook could affect this.
You should look at the new Partridge hook. It is completely different from the older Partridge hooks and I like it specifically because of the good gape compared to other brands or models.

For dries I like the grip 11011 BL's
For Nymphs I like the Grip 12003 (or 10023 - can't remember now).
I also tie a lot of my nymphs on scud hooks and I like the Gamakatsu C12 for those.
Dries, Grip 11011 BL's
Vaal: Grip 14731 Curved caddis
Trout: Mustad C49S and Gama C12
For dries I use Tiemco 9300. Stronger than most dry hooks but needed for bigger fish I believe.
For nymphs and wets Black Magic A and B. Widely available in NZ and very strong and reliable.

Is there any chance of some pictures of the Black Magic hooks, or a web address?
Thanks

Fly-fishing surpasses the need to actually catch a fish, it becomes a mindset, and with time, an obsession.
Lord, grant that I may catch a fish so big that even I,
When speaking afterwards,
May have no need to lie.
