    Default Fishing License & Jigging

Anyone know what the situation is regarding fishing licenses, I have asked at local stores they say licenses are not available.

They claim if you are approached you must say that you will buy one if they can supply you one. I still feel uneasy about going to the streams with out a license

Yesterday, at Erina there was a youngster jigging - as far as I know this is illegal, I was alone at that stage so did not want to confront him because he had friends.

It upsets me that some people have no respect for nature.

    Hi Mike,

    As far as I know Solly's PTA sell 2 ie:Gauteng & North West,about R50 for both.

Erina Spa I will always remember for 3 things,my first ever yellow, moons jigging with bear hooks on the far side and braaing their catch right there on the spot and theft when we went to buy a coolie at the shop.(watch out for the spark plugs as well.)

You will always find the locals jigging at Erina from the long island. KKlopper who works for Rand Water has attempted to eject them, he was threatened with death, don't know what the solution is
It's not in the catching, it's in the learning something new.

Shoot them, or at them, or in the area they are fishing or in the head

Oh please, to plats like that "heat" is what you feel on a summers day.

Id rather shoot them in both hands (no more heat) and then take my time with a certain bonsai tool i have called a knuckle sheers, they are designed to remove branches from the main trunk and make a concave shaped cut into the flesh of the tree. After we cut we seal so they dont die from blood loss, for this we can use some kind of outlawed fertilizer so that they can get a better understading of why things are outlawed...
