please check that the sluice gate in pombers (gawie se water) is in place.

Well, I can tell u that its in place now! But here's the amazing part, after replacing the gate water levels rose by approximately 10cm!

This may sound a bit grannyish but I'll say it anyway. You guys must just be careful that you don't get caught tampering with the sluice gate, there is a reason why it is there...or not there. You are basically tampering with someone's water rights. Just be careful is all I'm saying, those Wellington boere will sort you guys out big time if they catch you

Looking at the windguru and windfinder weather forecasts for the next week, it's going to be bloody hot in the kloofs, with a fair amount of wind wacking through, so the Witte will be tough going and very, very warm. And watch out for the puffies and cobras.
