Default Wat is the Mass of this yellow - 61cm

I landed a 61cm SM Yellow at the Barrage last night. I did not have a scale so I measured and marked it against my wading stick...It was in excelent condion.

Can someone give me an estimate on the mass?

    Thanks

You should have measured it's girth too, but my estimation would be about 2.8kg.

A while back I did some testing with both length & mass of SM - a whole bunch of fish over a period of time were recorded.

As a rule, a 60cm SM in good condition weighs 6lb (2.7kg) - so all the estimates of 2.8kg are spot on.
