Gents, who had some success with a fly called the "Serendipity". I'm looking at tying a few of those........with a diffirent "kink" to them though!

What I've done is.....used some vinyl rib for the body a dubbed a mixture of deerhair and hares ear for the head. Looks nice. Hope they work!

Having emerging midges in ur box is a must on the Vaal my china.But,I reckon there are some better patterns around than the one I have seen whilst searching the word Serendipity.

Start making friends with brassies.U can alter the body in so many ways and means not to mention gill options.Cdc comes to mind.

I'd like to see ur pattern though.U know I like ur style of tying.

Pretty fly that serendipity. I got the tying sequence out of American Fly Fishing Journal. Never had a chance to fish it though
