    Default Murray Park and Emmarentia

Hi all (please see my intro under introductions section). New to this forum, and I thought I'd report on my recent visits to Murray Park. Never been there before but took some nice fish behind the locked gate between the two dams and the bridge area. When there with fly and trad. bass tackle, and the highlight was a nice fish on a San Juan in the reed channels below the bridge on my 4 wt. Emmarentia (believe it or not) was good too. Went there Monday eve in the rain, no-one else there and had good fun.

Anyone care point me in the direction of a good (detailed) map of the Vaal/Orange/Limpopo drainage area systems? Esp. around Brits and Magalies. Any offerings would be appreciated.

tell me more about emmerentia. i live in the area and take my dogs there regularly. i have seen plenty barbel in the top dams but have always been wary due to the alleged pollution. any clarity on this will be cool.
also whats the name of the dam on the back of the northcliff hill.i figure its higher and therefore out of the pollution stream.

I wouldn't fish it by myself but there are some nice bass, barbel and carp in there. Pm me if you want to fish it one afternoon.
