    Default Magalies

Ok.....I Googled that part of the world, now I've got a few questions. Not far upstream from Magalies Barbus are these funny looking "water works" type things. Looks like a "drol plaas" but I dont know. There's a pond just below that. Anybody know anything about that place? PM me if you dont want to mention anything on this forum.

I would like to take a drive out there, but dont want to go waist my time.

Last Q...what does Magalies Barbus consist of.....i.o.w, dams, river, stream, etc?

Thanks Mike, but I dont think the other toppic mentioned anything about the "type" of fishing at Magalies Barbus? What about that pond close to the hatchery?

Again, if you dont want to mention anything here, PM me!

There is lots said about that section of river... search is my friend ...

The fishing is tough, there are lots of little fish around and they don't like eating flies.

The bush is over grown and there barb wire fences everywhere.

But don't let me put you off... try find the other posts on the venue, and please put links into this thread.
