I now understand what you mean.
I posted that pic just to show how tuff and durable these flies are.
Being completely synthetic and tied with a very tuff thread, they last forever.
After a couple of knocks and landing a tiger, you sort of rearrange the fibres and it goes again. No natural material fly, is as tuff as these flies.
Will post a tying sequence of the fly. Especailly now that I know how to resize the photos.

! BUMP !
After picking up my first few striped dogs with a definite trip on the cards very soon, I want to revisit this thread.
Did you ever do a step by step for that fly of yours Korrie ?

Dankie Korrie.

Fishing these flies, I found the best results have been on lines that sink. They don't work so well with a floating line.
I did a thread about striking and setting the hook. It might be worth your while to read that again, when fishing for tigers.
Every time I have taken guys tigerfishing, I recommend a slight alteration to the stance and setting the hook and results sky rocket. But then again, you might not need it.

One thing to mention ... lines with the 6th Sense core.
Magic !
You mentioned that the blue/white & pink/white colours work well for you with this fly ?

I tie a bunch of these and then use permant markers at the dam.
Blue have worked well, Green as well. Even the plain white have proofed to be very effective.
