    Looks frikkin cold too...where's your neoprene gloves??? These Metso ouks have no fear....

    Nice fishing though, good stuff.

    Well, it is MEANT to be summer, but that is relative up here.
    I am working in Gallivare, where it snowed 3 inches before I got here on Sunday. Temperatures were around 4 degrees celcius when I started fishing. Visibility was in excess on 2 meters.
    I was actually being snowed on while fishing.
    Water temp - dont know, BLOODY cold.
    Since this is a work trip, i have basic fishing gear - that did not include neoprenes or a beanie.
    I did bring waders and a rain jacket though, since I knew the water would be cold.

    Will be fishing Friday after work, Saturday and Sunday - want to get some Arctic Char, a Pike and some more trout. Always a shot at a Salmon, but I only have a 3wt & a 5wt.

    geez gary, looks like a stunning place and also extreme conditions. i like the cold, but 4 deg, i would have the jacket for sure. enjoy and send more pics. nic and i are fishing tomorrow and being a long weekend on monday....we decided to start early

    that looks awesome!
    Must be something terribly wrong with my life that I don't get to do cool stuff like fishing in a foreign country in the above mention conditions.
