The point of the exercise is to duplicate the entire situation, with exception of the browns and rainbows.
Same fly on both streams - honestly, if anyone can say that they would catch more browns than rainbows every time, then I would humbly lay down my Twin for good!!!

To paint lines on a silver stretch of stream, is to be humbled by nature and to be closer to thy maker.
I concede with this aswell Mario. I agree that browns are definitely shyer fish by nature. If I had to choose quantity, I would go for the rainbow stream. If it was quality fishing I was after, the kind of fishing that demands the quietest and most careful approach with the most delicate of presentation, knowing full well that I would be in for fewer fish regardless, I would choose the brown trout stream.
