Must be Explorer rod. Probably the Classic-series.
Hi, I am trying to get some info on a 5/6 WT rod which came in a maroon rod & reel case. The only name on it is "Bells Whisky Fly Rod"
I would really appreciatte if anyone could let me know who manufactured these rods and were they part of the annual Kamburg Festival. If so were they promotional gifts or prizes?
Any History would be greatly appreciatted.
Thanks

Sounds like a stealth Deep Red to me. Depends how long ago that was and what colour the rod was...

Sorry, made a mistake. The Explorers that they handed out came in green holders.
Rod is a Red Colour so you could be right about the Stealth. Can anyone else help???
Thanks
There was a promo on Bell's whisky a couple of years ago. You got a rod and reel in the maroon bag along with a bottle of whisky in a gift pack for Dad around Christmas 2003 or so.
Quite sorry I missed that one. Looks like a handy kit for the car. Drop of whisky would have gone well in a cuppa Earl Grey too....

Never mind the rod. Does it still come with the whiskey?
