    Default Free swimming caddis.

    Been playing around with various caddis larvae patterns lately, this being a little free swimming version...

    Very nice fly. What did you use for the body? I like the "buggy" movement the fly will give off.

    Thanks. The underbody is a mix of rust, black, grass green and maroon seals spun using a dubbing spinner overlaid with green V-rib. Thorax is black seals fur dubbed normally for a looser look with a small olive partidge hackle (crimped to get the legs to lay back nicley...)

    Thanks Justin. I really like the "feel" of the fly. Sounds silly but I'm sure you know what I mean.
