    Went this morning at about 10. Tried a bit. I am out of practice. Could only cast about 5 metres max. Didnt see much action though. Was good to just cast a line though..

    Went again yesterday evening, bit of a wind blowing, didnt see any fish movements or maybe i dont know what i looking for. I tried for about an hour, think i doing something wrong. Caught a tree or 2 behind me though any pointers or tips from the experts? Best time of day to try?

    When you see them moving ... seriously .. see the barbel ... catch the barbel.

    Sea barbel have spikes that are poisonous, not the normal freshwater kind.

    That makes sense, He lives at the coast and used to go on deep sea fishing trips, thanks

    when anything starts moving in your local dam, i hope u give me a call.. I need to find a dam thats closer than the vaal that i can fish at that has fish in at least.. Cheers
