pity it wasnt caught last year.... coulda entered it into the competition "The Kingfisher" in durban was running just before close season. "See who can catch the heaviest Shad/Elf, before the season closes"

made me MAD that did, mad mad mad.... they didnt see the issue funnily enough... Anyone else think I'm over reacting a bit, with a "see who can catch the biggest fish competition, just before close season (which is the time of the year the big fish go off to make babies)" ???

    HI Deewy,

Yuri caught it on a grey and white deceiver in the Housatonic estuary, New Haven in the U.S.A.

All mine were caught in estuaries, casting to baitfish activity hoping for leerie, elf, cob or skipjack. My largest so far just over 2 kg which to me is a good fish. The cob have been smaller than 2kg.
