Help! Looking for a 4# Rod!

Hi Guys!

Im looking at a new 4#! Either the TFO Finesse or Ticr, Greys Steamflex or Stealth Bomber! I want it for still water and the occational small stream! If anyone has another rod that they could recommend for me to look at!

Hi Eddie,

The TFO 4wt, Professional is really a great rod. The Finesse series only come in a 2wt. and 3wt. I fished a 4wt. pro series on the New Zealand rivers in the Commonwealth champs, it's a 9' rod, which might be a tad long for small streams, we fished bigger rivers. It will be a great bigger river/stillwater stick. 8'6" might be more suitable for local streams. It has a softer action, with enough backbone to punch a line on stillwaters when fishing dries and smaller flies.
