fishing venues

Hi Guys I’m new on the forum and would appreatiate any help.

I would like to know who can give me relayable information on fishing venues in the Befast area in catching fish other then trout.

I spoke to Johan Ferreira last week and he told me that he is catching lots of Carp in the town dam. I think this dam is also stocked with Trout, but he is targeting the Carp on fly and there are some very good fish of up to and even over ten kilos.

Thanks a lot for that information. I have a friend in the cape that fish for carp in some of the private trout lakes. Do you know if there are any trout farms that will allow this? Obviously the utmost caution will be taken not to disturb any of the regular customers. Like fishing after hours and so on.
