awesome fish Paul...must be exciting landing one that size on fly there...

i know a lot of guys who get cut off and broken off by big GT's there on R&S gear, so hats off to you...

swimming a certain livie in front there certain times of the year on certain tides is a certainty for a monster GT

    Default Here's to Paul Weingartz

Sorry to bring up an older thread, but the passing of Paul Weingartz and the talk of Vidal just got me thinking. I didn't know Paul personally, maybe bumped into him somewhere along the line but reading the writeups on him from HolyGT and many other forumers he seemed to be somewhat of a dedicated legend with a passion for life and fishing.

Just a big CHEERS to PAUL, even if I did not know him and to every other flyfisher out there.........

    We are all legends!!!

Back to Cape Vidal. Any recent reports? Hurricane has moved out to sea so conditions might have settled somewhat.
