    It would be mostly tungsten.
    But I would have some in plastic, if the fish are feeding up in the water column, the tungsten would then be below them and they wont see it.
    I would fish a tungsten fly at the point and the same fly with plastic bead on the dropper.

    It's called "longline nymphing" a new technique where you cover all the water on your beat at the same time.....

    Korrie, why would you put beads on dry flies?
    Unless these are ALL (gasp) nymphs!

    They are all nymphs, each and every one.

    Come and do my Nymphing course, and I will show you how to Weighted Surface nymphing. Maybe weighted nymphs on the surface will count as Semi-dry fly fishing?

    I also strongly opt to use a Di3 with the same nymphs and swing-strip it!!!
