For the best CDC go direct
    http://www.swisscdc.com

You can have it here in SA within 2 weeks.

Excluding postage R71,55 for 120 to 140 feathers.

Don't go knocking on Death's door, ring the bell and run like hell. He hates it. (anon)
Nymphing, adds depth to your fly fishing.
Nymphing, is fly fishing in another dimension

Jan I would gather the stripped bits and use it as dubbing on dries. I use the very long feathers as dubbing on my f-fly - technically not correct but the fish don't mind.

You can check in the area for duck/down farms. Colouring CDC is not easy.

Good quality is the only way to go but don't be ripped off.
