Extremely kuk weather all week and never even made it to the water...
I'd rather fish the Vaal any day!

Has anyone been to Fischer Haven Dam recently? (Formerly known as Exclusive Trout or "Piet's Dam") By recently I mean like the last 6 months?

If so, has the venue changed for the better under new management?

Same here Stephen. I went there twice and had bad experiences with drunk aggressive "fishermen" on both occasions. Willem is apparently in charge now and has sorted the crowd out. Looking forward to your report back.

Willem has definitely sorted out the bad crowd. He is there all the time and if anyone gets out of hand he deals with it right away. A much better scenario big time
Behold the fisherman. he riseth early in the morning and disturbeth the whole household. mighty are his preperations. he goes forth full of hope and when the day is ended, he returneth smelling of strong drink and the truth is not with him. originator unknown.
