    Default Vaal trip 2009 X

    Hi guys

It's been about a good three years since I first organised the first Vaal trip back in the day when I still had hair ( I wish ) and Herman ( Owe !@#$ his still the same )

    Anyway back to the point

We need to work out a date and a venue !!

    Date

We are looking around Mid November.

    Venue

The Venue has to have camping facilities and be able to accommodate 12 -15 anglers.

I would like all newcomer's to put up their hands and attend as you would learn tons and meet like minded individuals.

I have had a good chat to a few well known and published anglers and they would gladly give demo's on leader/rig setup ect ,Czech nymphing , Short-line work , upstream nymphing ECT.

If you are interested and keen on attending please reply to this thread and suggest a venue if you have any in mind.

    Lets see who's keen !

    Cheers

    Tyronne

Accordingly let the people have their say.

Yip, not too many venues will fit the "The Venue has to have camping facilities and be able to accommodate 12 -15 anglers." bill.

21 Nov is my B-day; so it might be an issue, will see closer to the date.

I'd be keen if you are looking for some 'younger' blood - not a stab at OMR or HJ

EK is always a leker place, and due to its distance from Jozi means there will be just that little less pressure! amazing what an extra 20 mins drive can do!

Date also issue on my side, as its the old mans bday, and sadly his hip replacement is not so fond of the Vaal
I'll stay as long as i can fish. . .

Whenever the "club" for geniuses - MENSA - was mentioned, I always wondered if their was an opposite equivalent society for imbeciles. Now I know, it's called ANCYL.
