rubber legs

hi chaps,how do u tie in your rubber legs so they sit 90' to ur hook shank.cant seem to get it right.thanks in advance

Make a overhand knot in the material and slide it over the eye of the hook. Pull tight and add glue.

First time Ive heard of that one Gerrit
I normally do a pinch loop in the middle of the rubber, add two gentle turns of thread and then pull tight, all the while whilst holding the rubber in position. This however gives you 2 legs that depending on the tension you put on the thread will either sit at 90 deg, or at different angles.

tried this,minus the glue.doesnt work 100%.have to tie it in with thread to try and hold its position.

Okidoki that idea is mainly used on bass bugs.Another option is to make fig of 8 wraps.By looking down at the wraps once finished it should look like an " x".The crossover point is exactly in the middle of the "x" If u don't get the desired look you're doing something wrong.
