Nice fish there - can you tell where you ended up going? Looks like some stillwater. I am just back from die mond and the water was quite cold and strangely murky with the fish very scarce. In Dec I managed about 20 good sized bass in one session and this time, 3 days worth of fishing yielded 3 fish.

Maybe some people have the perserverence to learn all there is to know about this "vrot" venue, and thereby enable themselves to fish it constructively.

Oh , I forgot, this venue is not a "numbers" venue, as everyone who dislkes it knows, so I suppose I should be gracious and accept the above comments from where they came.
It's not in the catching, it's in the learning something new.

1st time I saw the water like this on the upper Doring - definitely put a damper on the fishing!

They had "some" rain a month or so ago. I think the slight rise in waters flushed all the sediment from the shallows causing the water below the farm to go turbid. In Dec the water was very clear and warm.

The water color at Die Mond, depends, as mentioned, where there have been rain.
If it rained in the mountains, the water is clear.
If it rained in the Karoo, the water goes discolored.
