    Default Striped Mullet Minnow

    A pattern I tied last night.. Not the greatest photos due to the light, but nevertheless, I'll share it anyway.

    The stripes on the mullet are more visible when looking at it in real life, guess what I'm saying is that the photos do't do the pattern justice.

    - I used mirror image in white and grey
    - Tiny bit of flash
    - Mustad circle hook
    - Dumbell bead tied in under the shank
    - Sequence as the eye and covered in epoxy for magnifying the pupil

    Hopefully I'll land something decent on it!!..

    Thanks Chaps, I certainly also thought of the pattern for largemouth yellowfish.. I've tied similar patterns for bass and tigerfish.. posted a tigerfish pattern on the thread "Fly tying materials" on the link below..

    Pretty neat fly. I am in the Garden Route at the moment, and could do with a few of those....
