    Looks awesome !!

    Does it sink ?

    I've struggled with silicone over polar as it traps lots of air .


    Let us know how it swims and post the pics of what ever eats it

    it sinks and it stinks. like silicone that is. The polar fibre is moulded around a mono and fly thread frame.

    The hackle is tied around a piece of 100lb mono that is then tied to the shank of the hook. Lots of lead on the hook. Actually swims really well! Working on a better pattern now though. Will post pics once ive got it down

    Very very nice fly Peter, Do you mould the head with the silicone or pre before applying the silicone!
