    yes, CDC oil is a little expensive, but it will last about 3 times longer thanthe gel products. Also, it doesn't on;ly have to be used on CDC flies, it works well on any dry fly.

    Another vote for Petitjean CDC oil. Another option for CDC flies is Loon's Dust or Frogs Fanny.

    Most of the FF-Shops that I phoned only stock "Loon products".

    I like the Petitjean CDC oil (especially when it can soak into natural fibres - with artificial it tends to get washed off quicker) and all the Loon products. The other stuff - Fly-agra and Frogs Fanny I havn't tried (especially as I don't frequent porn shops these days as often as I used to...)
