    From what I've been told the Rapala Braid ain't bad at all. Not sure if it's a casting braid though

    Agreed... berkley fire lines costs a lot of $$$ other wise the Kingfisher super braid is the sh1t... I have never had problems with it.. I use 50lb as backing on the surf reel & heavy swim bait reel and never had a problem..

    My mate uses lighter, think 15lb on his drop shot rig with no hassles...

    I haven't used the rapala braid so I don't know much about it...
