Default Stillwater trout in South Africa

    by Dean Riphagen

I got a book voucher from a friend for my birthday and I ordered this hardcover book...

    Man,

Stunning photos of huge trout from all over SA's best locations.

I am really going to enjoy reading and learning a lot more about stillwater trout in SA...

    R150.00 well spent...

Gerhard, I agree! Also bought myself the book a few months ago and what a book! I have certainly learned stacks from it. Was drooling all over the book while looking at all those big trout. Can't wait for the cooler winter months. Enjoy a well chosen gift!

That's a good buy! It is a very informative book.

Buy the one pops mentioned too, if you can find it.

    Ladies and gents,

I see Trout Hideaway's up for sale at auction.

Anyone interested in parting with their pocket money?

    Cheers

I don't mix in such elite and wealthy circles so I am not able to answer your pertinent and relevant question!

    R 9,4 million.

The estate agent handling the sale thought I'd be interested and mailed me a while ago about it. She obviously has not seen my bank statements lately!

OH PS: She said it was "HIGHLY negotiable" as the owners were looking to sell quick, they are getting old and want out. If they could go down to R 325.00 in 12 instalments I may be interested....

jeepers that's a lot! is it a big farm? (we own farm land and 9.4m for a farm that isn't like 1000ha plus would be maddness)

lets go 50:50 Mike.... I should be able to put about the same together in 12 easy installments.

Ja look it's HUGE, and the value comes not only from the land, but from the trout lodge and all the amenities. There are plenty of great cottages, chalets, rooms, dams, trout fishing, faclities, etc etc.
