    Ricko, between dodging multiple cyclones, the worst floods in history, re-building my truck and now out of control fires in WA, I'm absolutely fine where I am thanks. Others though haven't been so fortunate and have lost everything - this place has some friggin extreme weather man!

    I was at Breede yesterday wading the bank and after not having seen a single shark there for about 5 years, had three sightings. There may have been three sharks that I saw more than once, or five sharks.

    Some idiot had caught some grunter and had cleaned them on the bank, leaving the guts and heads at the water's edge.

    The Zambo's could smell them and were trying to get to them.

    Very nerve-wracking, even though they were clearly not interested in me at all.

    They really are spectacularly big sharks!

    if there is one shark attack at Witsand, the attitude towards the sharks will change, for the worse.

    Sometime, probably sooner than later, it will happen.
    Even if it is only an inquisitive bite from a shark.

    Good to hear , let us know when u fishing again. Any marlin lately?

    Ha, nothing unfortunately. Fishing has dwindled since not having a means to tow my boat to the boat ramp, but hopefully that'll change pretty soon.
