I was hoping that somebody that actually fished with the Stealth Infinity (9wt and 12wt) would share his experience...

Gele, you might want to get 2 Infinity's in both #9 and #12, that way you will have some sparesections in the future.

On a serious note, I have fished with an infinity and its a decent rod, you won't go wrong in terms of performance. The Shimano rods are also excelent vallue for money and I am pretty happy with my #9. I will personaly get the shimano or one of the TFO's and get myself the best reel I can afford with my budget.

Nogal skerp?

I own aand fish with a Horizon TRS 10wt, very strong rod, also not extremely heavy, may be worth it to get more info on Horizon rods, they do the job for me offshore in the deep water off the cape. Also not too badly priced, well within your budget!

    Dude

Get yourself a Sage VXP 9wt! I got one, slightly more expensive than your budget, but worth every penny!

Dream rod - light, fast, responsive and good pulling power.
