    Default Silicone Sheets

    Hi

In this months Complete FlyFisherman Mag Murray Peddar metions how MC Coetzer makes silicone sheets by spreading Marine Silicone mixed with polar fibre between 2 sheets of Wax paper and then roll it with a rolling pin. I tried it last night and this morning when I tried to remove the waxpaper it all tore off on the edges of the silicone. Why ? I'm not sure if the silicone I used was Marinie Silicone - could that be it ?

    Cheers

    Hi

Try the thick plastic folders you find in stationary shops. It works best for me.
Also make sure the silicone is completely dry before seperating the sheets.
