Saw the price list.I think its R200 more than last year.Around R1080 for tents and 1250 chalettes.I hear the tent area next to the river is complete and available this year.

It all depends on the size of your tent, and the amount of people you want to put in your tent.

When you say "the tent area near the river" do you mean the tented camp in the reserve or the old campsite that we used up until about 3 years ago? I'd be very keen to camp in the old campsite again!

Same format as before i.e. catered lunch packs and dinner along with "self drive" to the beats? Where do the "local guides" come into the equation?

The tented bush camp is the one with semi-permanent tents in the reserve and there is also a campsite right on the rivers edge where you use your own tent.

The campsite was closed for many years but when I popped in there in December last year when I was staying nearby at Warrenton they had just re-opened the campsite. They had just completely redone the ablutions, etc.

It was still a bit of a construction site when I was there but you could see that it is going to be pretty nice once the dust had settled, so by now I'm sure its looking great.

I am not sure where the old campsite was but the new campsite is right on the rivers edge in a great location.
