    Default 2011 Summer clinics

    Daniel Factor is hosting 3 clinics in order to raise money to represent South Africa in the Oceania Championships later this year in Australia. Each clinic will be held over a weekend, and will be presented by some of the top anglers in the country including 4 Protea anglers. Clinics will cover everything, from A –Z.

    Instructors

    • Daniel Factor
    • Robert Van Rensburg
    • Gary-Glen Young
    • Herman Botes
    • Cameron Anderson (depending on clinic)


    Clinic 1
    Vaal Newbie (beginner to intermediate) Held just bellow Vaal Barrage

    Clinic 2
    Specialized Nymphing (European approach) Held in Orkney on the Vaal river

    Clinic 3
    Small stream Clinic held on the Beautiful Crocodile River in Kwena Basin

    Areas the clinics will cover:

    • Casting techniques
    • Water selection
    • Water approach
    • Fly selection
    • Detecting takes
    • Entomology
    • Fly Tying
    • Upstream and downstream nymphing
    • Fishing the dry and emerger
    • Basics of French, Spanish, Polish and Czech Nymphing
    • Leader construction
    • Tackle selection

    Cost will vary depending on the clinic and venue

    weekend 23rd sep advanced nymphing in Orkney - confirmed
    weekend of Oct the first - Vaal newbie
    smallsream clinic will either be 15th oct or septhe 24 th just need to confirm with lodge

    Hey Daryl,

    Not all of them at least 3 or 4 of the listed instructors at each clinic. each instructor has a specialized technique, so best fitted technique for the specific clinic

    Also got some surprise okes and tackle dealers coming along, as well as good special on tackle for the guys.

    What are the guys attending expected to pay per course???

    Price range as all clinics are held at different venue's. But average clinic will be around R1300, INCL full clinic and full board accommodation
