Just purchased this rod and i must say its bloody great,i know people say that a rod will not help you cast better but bloody hell this thing helped mine no end i cast the rod all day Saturday before i purchased it (thanks Phillip) and i instantly noticed a big difference. These rods are light, look good and cast great i would say the action is Medium/fast,its a 4 piece,9ft, and is made by the Tim Rajeff company. They start at around R1200 for the Solo the carbon was R1950 and i think they go upto about R3500 bucks, check with Phillip at Eikendal...

I think no innocent species of wit or pleasantry should be suppressed; and that a good pun may be admitted among the smaller excellencies of lively conversation.

Who said a rod won't help you cast better? Of course it will!

This is another big up for the Echo rods in a long line of compliments and no complaints. Good stuff!

But if you have a line then you will also need a reel to put it on!

It won't really help you cast, but will hold said line which is also going to help you cast!
