    Default South African fly in Norway

    Hi Guys!

    Not shure where to put this topic, but I guess this will do...

    Had a great month in SA looking at all the big five, and did some cage diving like all the other tourists ;-) Did manage to get a little fishing done with Korrie in the hills, and had a blast. He gave me this secret fly of his that I had to try when I got home, and so I did. I tried two of my nearby rivers this last week. Got to the river and tied on the goldylocks(?) size 10. I got six fish, and attached is the two biggest ones. Korrie!!! You have to send me some more!!!

    Magnificent browns there, well done! Nice that Korrie cold help you out with that fly, it does seem like a winner. Awesome fishing, thanks for posting.

    Could Goldilocks be the new Orange?
    Around the steel no tortur'd worm shall twine, No blood of living insect stain my line;
    Let me, less cruel, cast feather'd hook, With pliant rod athwart the pebbled brook,
    Silent along the mazy margin stray, And with fur-wrought fly delude the prey

    Hi Alex
    WOW, stunning fish.
    I am very happy the Goldilocks caught you those fish.
    I am actually very very jealous on such beautiful fish. One of these days I will visit you with a handful of Goldilocks, tied specially for you. and me to catch such lovely fish.

    Thank you guys!

    Korrie: we have bigger fish for you to tackle, mate. it will cost you 2 goldylocks per kilo fish

    Bernard: It was nice meeting you at the great evening at the fishing club. Even the Norwegian fishing movie was a success.

    Browns are so called Troot, remember dickhead, not yellows.
