Default greetings from a brand new fly fisherman

Hey guys. Nice to join you.

I'm brand new to fly fishing. I stay in NW province and hope I can capatilize on the great fly experince the mighty Vaal has to offer. I've tried fly fishing once for trout in Rotorua, NZ but wasn't succesful.

Although I am a non competitive but avid bass fisherman, friends got me interested in yellow fish angling with the fly rod/rigg.

I still need to buy my first ever fly rod, reel, line and accesories; so please be kind to me and help me with advice and tips on the forum.

    Welcome.

This past time has a seriously steep learning curve but once it all comes togeather it sure is magical.
