Ferdie, you'll have to mix you own blend of holo dubbing. I use daimond bright in mine. Try the guys at Frontier Flyfishing, they stock a good range of the daimond bright.

    Default Holo-dubbing Blends

Not all my article made it into the book.

Here are the blends I use.

    HOLO-DUBBING BLENDS

    HOLO-BROWN
1/2 bag Hareline Ice Dub - Holographic Brown
1 bag Hareline STS Trilobal – Fiery Brown
    1 Hareline Hare’s Ear Plus – Chocolate Brown (#8)
    HOLO-TAN:
1/4 bag Hareline Ice Dub - Holographic Gold (gold is very strong – use only ¼ bag)
1 bag Hareline STS Trilobal - Tan
    1 bag Hareline Hare’s Ear Plus – Natural Hare’s Ear (#1)
    HOLO-OLIVE
1/2 bag Hareline Ice Dub - Holographic Olive
1 bag Hareline STS Trilobal – Olive
1 bag Hareline Hare’s Ear Plus – Insect Green (#3)
    HOLO-BLACK
Hareline does not have a Black holographic dubbing. The Black holographic dubbing I use I import myself. Use the following as a substitute.
1/2 bag Hareline Ice Dub – UV Black
1/2 bag Hareline STS Trilobal – Bloody Black Leech or Wapsi Superbright

Gary just got lucky and his flies don't really work that well.

If you want to tie really deadly patterns, then visit Sean at Flywaters. He just landed a new batch of Hends materials. Check out the new thread and the Spectraflash. This is the stuff that the Finland team use as shellback on their Czech nymphs. Some other very useful materials as well and the prices are good.
