    Did you use craft furr? looks sweet. Craft furr accepts marking pens nicely too!!

    Hi there. No its EP Fibre. Marking pens come off after some time and I dont like the scent they give off... Craft fur is too soft for this type of tie.

    the one interesting thing i forgot to mention with mantis shrimp, is that they swim forward most of the time, even during an attack they swim frorwards...maybe worth tying some the other way round...

    Depends on how you tie with craft furr. But also each to their own. I love tying with it and find it has so much life.

    I noted that you use mono filament(ends melted) to simulate the eyes and the a painted dumbel. Any reaqson for the dumbel, which also look like eyes?
