    Actualy,blue gill fiilets are lekker. Well, thats what the guys said when fed them.

    I love the place, yes the rod is a Loomis & Franklin Elite its actualy a very nice rod.

    Nice one Flippie - I paddled around the dam a few months ago but only managed one fish... should have gone up that river. The scenery up the kloof where the other river comes in is absolutely epic.

    Also got a loomis and franklin rod - 3 weight.. best rod I ever owned, and probably the cheapest too haha

    Flippie have you tried the river below the dam yet? I used to go play there from time to time but haven't been in ages. Just wondering if anything's happening there. Especially the last 2 k's or so upstream of the confluence?
