    Default Largy....and i mean largy

I hope this is allowed as i got this pic from a friend but we dont know who the guy in the pic is.But a photo like this just needs to be seen. This must be the biggest largy that has come out of our water in decades. Its hard to estimate size but just looking at the guys hands and the overhang on the tail, this is a true beastlargy.jpg

    Longer, and also heavier.

To put it in perspective, the guy holding it is tiny, but you can't argue with that weight, it's a beautiful fish. Look at the size of the head, the fins and the tail.

Makes me very happy to see someone holding a Yellowfish like that, fly caught to boot.

When I saw the pics so did I, based on how impressive the fish looked in relation to the angler I also estimated 14-15kgs, even a chap who caught a 10kg estimated it that size, so the measured weight didn't make sense in relation to how impressive the fish looked, but then we measured the hands (hand size in men are not proportional to frame or build) against other fish in the 10-11kg size range as a rough estimation, and it does fit.

All I can say is wow! That is a monster...

It is great to see fish of that size are still around.
