Default 2 new patterns for this season

These are 2 new patterns (for me) that I'm going to be trying out this season!

    The second one I like.
    It is subsurface.

I have made a conscious decision to fish more caddis pupa this season (well, the few times I'll be fishign anyways). It's something I've never really done. Yes, I know it's a selective thing most times, but I still want to do it.

I've never been a bid caddis nymph fisher. Yes, of coarse in the Adult/emerger stage - EHC and so on, but rarely in the Larva stage.

    Until . . .

I went to fish the vaal one day, lift up a rock, and it was alive with caddis pupa.

Quite amazing, never seen anything like it anywhere else!

Thanks, but please note, they are not mine. I'll be tying up some of them for the little fishing I plan to do. Just thought I'd share, since they look like good patterns.
