I used to have TXl's a few years ago (granted not the TXL-F) and, in fact, had a 2 wt as well. Found it too fast for me and went to ZXL's. I would not overline the ZXL's but the TXL I had could throw a 3wt easily and the action was actually better, imo.

Im still looking for a 3wt - if nobody wants to swap then I'll sell the 2wt in the end.

I think that you probably find that most people will prefer the 3wt as the reason why you aren't getting any takers.

So most people prefer the 3wt but the 2wt is a much better rod?

No I still have it. I still think its a bit light for what I want, but I kind of made peace with it

Im still open for a swap (or maybe sell it and buy a different one)

    Cheers

out of 10 what would you say the overall condition is?

I would say 9/10 - it is basically brand new. I would want to sell it for around R4k - hopefully I will get a second hand 3wt for around that.
