I am about to order and legally import the following;

1 x 5 Pound box of White Icelandic Sheepskin pieces/trimmings.
2 x 3 Pound box of Assorted fur pieces/trimmings
40 x White Tanned Rabbit Hides
5 x Size L Arctic Fox pelts

This involves getting the neccessary import permit from our National Department of Agriculture in Pretoria. The goods will then be inspected, certified and shipped by the US Fish & Wildlife.

Whether I import 1 Kilo or 50 Kilos of goods, the South African permit costs the same amount and the hassle of getting it done remains the same. Only the shipping costs will change depending on the total weight of the package.

Are anybody else also interested in purchasing some of the goods from glacierwear.com? Beside the above, they sell many other stuff. You will only be required to pay for the goods you order and proportional shipping expenses. My company will pay for the South African permits and do all the running around to get this done.

I'm curious. You starting a fly-tying factory? What do intend using the fox for? Tails and dubbing I would imagine?

No fly tying factory. It's for a 50 catamaran yacht geared to go world cruising for many years.
