Hi All,

Looking to purchase a vest for a decent amount!

If anyone knows of a good shop that sells a great vest then please let me know!

Open to second hand vests as well!

Cheers

Hi mate,

It's just a suggestion, but getting a vest is limiting yourself unless it's specifically for a particular purpose.

I have found over the years that a chest pack that incorporates a backpack/flyvest type setup to up to be much more effective.
You have the choice of adding the essentials as well as the 'survival' stuff for those extended day trips.
Wet weather gear, headtorch etc.

Anyway......just my .20c (inflation )

I prefer a vest to the chest pack.
When fishing with a chest pack, I feel like a marsupial. :(

I prefer the vest, and I think in my own world it makes me look cool.

Vest perfect for just normal day on the water/river etc.

Chestpack will be good for those extra miles.

With most vests, you can wear a backpack as well.
Hiked up the Witels with full backpack etc and fly vest, no problem

Jip, I also have a small good quality backpack to wear over my vest on a longer trek, no problem.

That looks awesome! While hiking the "Boobs" are placed at the back and you can transfer them to the front when you want to start fishing

That's what drew my attention as well. Some of the comments seemed that it could be a complicated method, but it looks simple enough. It's a very cool little trick that other brands should very well try and copy :D

I like the idea of the boobs moving around. make sense on a long hike.

Also gives you the option just using it as a small backpack.

packs like the ll bean shown here look cool, the idea of carrying everything and to be able to adjust things souds ideal but wouldnt these boobs be in the way. not that i'm saying you wouldnt be able to see the fish but the free movement of the elbows could be restricted due to its low hanging boobs, i think a single boob dead center on the chest (not on the belly) would be more comfortable.

I fish with my rod a lot of the times in the center of my body.
With all the boobs in the center, I find that my is held to far from my body.
I like the backpack with removable boobs setup, when you get home, you can take the boobs home and watch TV whilst you are re-organizing your boobs.
You could add an extra one in the center as well

3rd boobs are more common than what we think.
