A variant of the Greenwell's Glory taken from Fogg's "The Art of the Wet Fly".
Hook: #14-16 this is a Partridge YL2A
Thread: Primrose Pearsall's waxed.
Hackle: Greenwell (I used Furnace) hen.
Rib: Fine gold wire
Wing: Paired Woodcock
Start thread and tie in hackle and rib.

Take thread down to opposite barb and back to hackle.

Rib and tie off in front of hackle.

Wrap no more than 2 turns of hackle.
