Has anyone caught stonebream on fly successfully or know how to? I'm in KZN, near Durban so preferably in this area...
If you can get hold off the oct/nov issue off AFRICAS ORIGINAL FLYFISHING MAGAZINE,hey cove quite an extensive part on stone bream,what flies,were and how,they look like strong little buggers so let me know how it goes;)

awesome, ja i always see them there in the waves and they're solid fish! it would be a great thing to pursue. Is nobody else gonna help me out??

Sorry for a late answer, here in Israel in last season all lure fisherman got mad about sea bream fishing, so we found fiends in Australia who knows to do that...

Good reads and i remember "Bushy" from my days of watching Rex Hunt on tv but unfortunately those are very different species of fish to our stonebream.
I have tryed their tactics, at our sea bream the one with the spot, and most of it works...
