Well said Terry. Seriously consider using a landing net and keeping your catch in the net, in the water, while capturing your memories by way of picture. If not that, you can balance the net on some water grass. Those beauts you caught have very fragile skins and every nick, cut, scrape and more importantly, any damage to the slime coat covering the fish can cause serious infection and even death, something I'm sure you'd rather avoid. Enjoy the fishing and the outdoors, leave nothing, take away only your enjoyment and memories.
