  1. Hi Marlon

The fishing was good, maybe a bit easy in the stockie dams, but nevertheless good fun. I fished mainly static nymph under a dry fly (as per my posts) casting to likely areas and to rising fish. I fished Loch Leven and Lake Pleasant quite a bit and got quite a lot of fish with the mentioned technique. I reckon in Sept you will have lots of action on dragons fished into the weeds. For a bit of a challenge (and better fish) fish Loch Ness and Loch Lomond. These are C&R but the fish are in better condition (not fat and stupid like in the smaller stockie dams) and there are some big fish in the C&R dams. Wooly Bugger Weir (on the edge of Dunkeld) is also nice to sight fish as you can get a nice vantage point and cast to cruising fish. Pack in your polaroids
  2. Hi, I see from your forum posts, you fished Dunkeld Country Estate this year in April. Was wondering how you found it, as I have a trip booked for the end of September.

    thanks
    marlon
